Pack Rat Syndrome hazardous to a Web Comic
Well, moving to a new apartment, and this is kind of how things are looking. On the webcomic front, its kind of hard to draw when you are living in a box.
I hope to have a new comic strip up soon, so thanks to everybody who stopped by, and please don't be a stranger.
In the mean time, I'm waiting on reinforcements
WebComic Reviews | Thinkin' Lincoln
One of my favorites... Thinkin' Lincoln has over two years of archives. Like most web comics the art itself isn't great, instead its economical. The comic reuses "talking heads" of various historical and literary characters, including several ex-presidents, a zombie Mark Twain, and Punxsutawney Phil. If you've never read the comic check out the "characters" page first, which is hilarious by itself, and briefly explains who and why the players are there.
Process - making initial sketches.
just thought it'd be fun to post a rough sketch I did for today's comic post. My sketches seem to be extremely simple/sloppy, and usually end up looking nothing like the finished page. They do work well as a loose guide. (which I need to get better at.) For example, with my latest post, "Chinese finger trap" I ended up have problems with where to put the word bubbles in this panel...why? Because I ignored that part in the initial sketches.
whadayya gonna do?
